November Rewind
Thankful for visitors
Dear Readers,
Happy Thanksgiving! It’s been a busy month for me with some friends and family members coming to visit me here in Budapest. It’s been nice to feel like my life here is more integrated with my life back home. I’m grateful that I have people able and willing to cross an ocean to come see me!
We kicked off November with my friends Abby and Tommie visiting from Michigan. It was great to show them around Budapest and enjoy some of the tourist attractions with them.
My friend Josh also visited from the UK. He was a fellow teacher last year, and it was encouraging to see him and hear about his life post-teaching.
Finally, my parents are here! They arrived Friday evening and I’m spending the next few days with them. Again, it’s great to feel like my life is more interconnected, and it’s fun to show them what my life is like here in Budapest.
This month has been too jam-packed to publish any movie reviews, but I have caught a few new flicks that I really enjoyed:
Bugonia 4/5
Frankenstein 4/5
Hoping to cross Wicked: For Good off the list next.
Thanks for reading!
xo,
Tory
P.S. November is also my birthday month! To celebrate, I had a bonfire with a few friends. It was just what I wanted :)

How wonderful that this is your life right now! It warms my heart! Although your life is really coming together there. You are missed 🇺🇸
😘
Happy Thanksgiving Tory !
